About Us
About Craig Hemping
I'm the owner and principal biologist of Pacific Headwaters LLC. My path started with 4.5 years as a U.S. Navy Avionics Technician, then a B.S. in Biological Science from Chico State and over 15 years in fisheries and wildlife biology across the U.S. Forest Service and California Department of Water Resources, including work as a Supervisory District Biologist and more than 10 years as a wildfire incident Resource Advisor.
I started Pacific Headwaters, a veteran-owned small business based in Corning, to bring that same depth of experience to the agencies, landowners, and anglers I work with today, offering both science-based environmental consulting and guided fishing trips across California's waters.
